It is very frustrating when you spend hours writing a post and one close by idiot comes from no where to copy all your content, without a link back (Although i do not need a link back) to the author of the post. It is so unwise. Imagine how such person would drive all the traffic that is meant to come to your blog to his own blog. The blogosphere is currently experiencing this problem and some serious minded bloggers would even love to go into a physical combat just to kick the ass of these copycats that floats around the web on daily basis stealing the content of other hardworking bloggers. It is quite shameful and annoying at the same time and i bet, if you have been a victim of these bad guys, you would be on my side.

Why Would One Copy Your Post

Yea. Just as i said in my previous post, most bloggers do not consider the top 7 things every newbie blogger need to know before encroaching into blogging. Some are  moved by the term "Make money online blogging with google adsense." This has really given a bad reputation to bloggers. Though most of the top entertainment blogs in the internet today became so successful via the copy and paste system. No one can actually stop this copy and paste guys, not even "Google." Recently,  +Matt Cutts  updated his twitter handle, requesting google users/Bloggers to file a report to google for any of your blog article stolen which eventually outranks the original authors blog via a link he shared on twitter.

How To Find Out If Your Blog Content Has Been Stolen

When i started blogging initially, i do take my time to google search my topics over the internet.I still do that, so don't think i have stopped. The truth is that you can actually catch these content thieves who are stealing your content on daily basis by just running a google search or file a DMCA report. There are some sites that proffer such services. They scan your site and suggest sites that have duplicated your content within minutes. You can actually do a google search on how to get those sites.

Now to catch these guys, all you have to do is to copy the header or title of your post, followed by the first paragraph and run a search on the google search engine. If someone has copied your post, then you should see such blog either above or below you on the google search engine.

How To Report The Content Theft To Google

Now you have caught the thief, justice is not completed if the content thief is not penalize by some search engines. According to the latest updates by Matt Cutts, the head of webspam google, he openly requested that if you see a scraper url outranking the original source of content on the google search engine, such blog/website should be reported to google immediately via the newly built google scrapper report form.

The form is self explanatory. So you actually don't need someone to hit you an explanation on how to use it.

If you wish to report a spam activity, simply use https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport?hl=en&pli=1  if you wish to lay complaint on copyright infringement, simply use http://www.google.com/support/bin/static.py?page=ts.cs&ts=1114905 to complete such action. You and i can keep the tech tutorial blogs free from copy and paste tech blogger.

Someone needs to know about this, simply use the share button below to pass this message across to them.
